This is a group for all levels of knowledge, composed of those who may simply want to enjoy the visuals and discussion rather than a heavy art history.
The meetings are dynamic and are a splendid opportunity to learn about art and artists, even if opinions diverge. It always leads to lively discussion and a lot of laughter.
Members can also opt into a daily set of email images of all genres of painting and sculpture for comment and discussion.
The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at the Hypatia Trust in Chapel Street, 2pm to 3.30pm with a tea break. We request a small contribution of £2 for room hire and refreshments.
